Our Tutoring Process

is Evidence‑Based Tutoring That Delivers Results

At ZiTutors, we specialise in high school tutoring that goes beyond improving marks — we help learners build confidence, consistency, and the daily study habits that lead to lasting success.

Our process is designed to:

  • Identify the root causes of a learner’s struggles
  • Create a personalised plan that meets them where they are
  • Support them consistently until they reach their goals

It’s a three‑stage journey that blends proven university‑level teaching strategies with the realities of tutoring in South Africa’s DBE, IEB, and Cambridge curriculums.

Stage 1 – Registration & Evaluation

We start by getting to know your child — not just their marks, but their learning style, study habits, and confidence levels.

Step 1 – WhatsApp Discussion
We listen to your concerns, your child’s challenges, and your goals for their progress.

Step 2 – Sign‑Up & Enrolment
You complete our quick online form, and we set up your parent portal.

Step 3 – Online Meeting
We meet with you and your child to assess academic strengths, weaknesses, and mindset.

Step 4 – Learner Evaluation
We use short quizzes, study habit questionnaires, and conversations about goals to create a clear picture of where your child stands.

Step 5 – Feedback & Lesson Decision
We share a clear report with our recommendations and lesson plan.

Step 6 – Payment & Scheduling
Once confirmed, we invoice and schedule lessons.

Stage 2 – The High School Tutoring Plan

This is where evaluation turns into action. Together — ZiTutors, the learner, and the parent — we create a plan that keeps the learner motivated, accountable, and steadily improving.

      Our plans focus on:

      1. Developing Structure – Setting routines that make learning consistent and manageable.
      2. Building Confidence – Helping learners see progress, even in moments of struggle.
      3. Coping with Pressure – Equipping them with tools to handle school stress and exam anxiety.
      4. Balancing Focus – Teaching how to manage schoolwork and downtime for mental sharpness.
      Stage 3 – Reporting & Progress Tracking

We believe parents should always know how their child is doing. That’s why we provide:

      • First Progress Report – After the first 4 lessons.
      • Ongoing Lesson Reports – After every session.
      • End‑of‑Term Review – A 1‑hour meeting to celebrate wins, address challenges, and set new goals.
